Business Analyst Advisor – ENGIE North America

As a Business Analyst Advisor based in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s S&EM (Supply and Energy Management) Business Unit you will work closely with the Digital IT team supporting the application landscape that enables order to cash business operations.

This role will be accountable to liaison between the business stakeholder groups and the Digital IT delivery team on the production stability of the applications, vendor engagement and support, new functionality requests, and process optimization needs. You will drive organizational alignment and end‑user adoption of the SaaS platforms to maximize business performance.

• Own and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date application training materials and business process documentation.
• Develop future‑state process documentation for new functionality released by SaaS providers.
• Design and document functional process improvements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Gather, document, analyze, and challenge functionality requests and requirements.
• Collaborate with the Digital Delivery team to evaluate technical solutions and assess feasibility.
• Document functional specifications, user stories, and system requirements as part of the enhancement delivery process.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and project delivery teams implementing application change.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and internal controls as defined by ENGIE compliance and controls teams.
• Engage with SaaS vendors on issue resolution and user requests.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Provide effective and timely communication to all relevant teams.
• Provide regular progress reports to the PMO.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant Business Analyst or Project Manager experience; or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Project) for presentation and project tracking.
• Experience with process mapping using Visio or Lucid.
• Excellent communication, presentation, partnering, and adaptability skills.
• Willingness to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
• Eligible for ENGIE’s hybrid work policy: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Salary Range: $117,300 – $179,860 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
