Information Security Architect (People Soft Security Administrator)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Work Authorization: USC/GC ONLY

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect / People Soft Security Administrator to design, maintain, and optimize a scalable ERP security model within People Soft HCM and FSCM
. This role ensures compliance with audit requirements while enabling flexibility for future growth and evolving business needs.

• Administer and maintain ERP security models supporting business rules and requests
• Participate in internal/external audit activities related to People Soft security
• Review, update, and maintain documentation for current security models
• Collaborate with DBA, Sys Admin, development, and functional teams on troubleshooting, tuning, scripting, and configuration support
• Provide Help Desk ticket support and resolve security-related issues
• Partner with teams to design new or updated security requirements
• Participate in patching, upgrades, production releases, and on-call rotation as needed

• In-depth knowledge of People Soft dynamic security models, route controls, chart field security, workflow approvals, user preferences, custom permission lists/roles, and query security trees
• Experience with installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of ERP components across web, application, integration, and batch tiers
• Strong scripting and automation skills (SQL, Shell, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure system stability and compliance

• Timely resolution of Service Manager tickets
• Active participation in team status reviews and progress reporting
