Clayton Services is searching for an Associate Data Analyst to join a growing organization in Northwest Houston. The Associate Data Analyst will support reporting initiatives, analyze business data, develop dashboards, and help improve operational processes through data-driven insights and automation.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $75,000 annually ($33.65 - $36.06/hour)

- Develop, maintain, and enhance business dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for process improvement
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership and departmental stakeholders
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries within relational database environments
- Assist with database maintenance, data structures, and reporting architecture to improve accessibility and efficiency
- Support data integration activities and automated data workflows across multiple business systems
- Identify manual processes that can be automated and implement solutions to improve accuracy and productivity
- Perform data validation, auditing, and quality control to ensure reporting integrity
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver meaningful analytical solutions
- Create documentation, training materials, and reporting guides for end users
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support additional reporting and data-related projects as assigned
Skills and Abilities
:
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field
- Experience working with reporting and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience with SQL and relational databases required
- Exposure to ETL processes, data integration, or data warehousing concepts preferred
- Experience with Python, automation tools, or scripting languages is a plus
- Experience supporting CRM systems or business applications is beneficial
