Business system analysis

The Business Systems Analyst works with stakeholders across the organization to understand business challenges, document requirements, evaluate processes, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze current business processes and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for IT and software teams.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and business documentation.
• Support software implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
• Conduct testing and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with users and project teams.
• Assist with training, change management, and user adoption.
• Managing the VAR relationship (support ticket management).
• Supporting ERP implementations and enhancements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gather and document detailed requirements.
• Process improvement and workflow analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (any Tier 2-3 software).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to learn or build reports and dashboards.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of business analysis experience.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or manufacturing/distribution systems.
• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or data analysis tools.
