This is a senior-level, hands-on engineering role focused on enterprise eDiscovery and litigation support applications. The team is specifically seeking candidates with strong experience supporting platforms such as Relativity, Relativity One, Reveal, Brainspace, or similar legal technology tools.
Location: NYC (Hybrid) - 3 days a week onsite Tues-Thurs
Employment Type: Full-time Direct Hire
Compensation: $165K–$185K base + bonus
About the Role
This role supports a sophisticated legal technology environment focused on litigation and eDiscovery operations.
The team is looking for someone with strong application engineering and platform support experience who can troubleshoot complex issues, support integrations, optimize performance, and work closely with internal stakeholders and software vendors.
This is not a basic support role — it’s a highly visible engineering position supporting enterprise-scale legal technology platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Support and optimize eDiscovery and litigation technology platforms
- Configure and maintain Relativity, Relativity One, Reveal, Brainspace, or similar systems
- Troubleshoot advanced production and application issues
- Support APIs, integrations, ETL processes, and data workflows
- Partner with vendors and internal teams on upgrades and enhancements
- Assist with AI, automation, and platform modernization initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation and operational standards
- Participate in shared on-call support as needed
Required Experience
- 8+ years in application engineering, platform support, or enterprise application administration
- Strong experience with eDiscovery or litigation technology platforms
- Experience with APIs, ETL processes, and enterprise integrations
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, REST APIs, Linux, and Power Shell
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-facing skills
Preferred Background
- Legal, litigation, compliance, or professional services experience
- Exposure to AI-enabled platforms or automation technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or hybrid environments
