Technician, Network Operations Center

Job Summary

The Network Operations Center Technician will monitor and maintain the network and systems of the organization, working closely with other NOC professionals to ensure efficient operations. They will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, documenting all incidents and resolutions.

• Monitor network and systems to ensure they are running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
• Work closely with other NOC technicians to maintain efficiency.
• Document all network and system issues with corresponding resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in network and system administration.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certifications in fiber optics are a plus.
• Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience or training in Network Operations and troubleshooting.

Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Solar Winds.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid driver's license.

The role requires daily analysis and interpretation of data, stationary work for portions of the day, frequent use of computers, and daily movement around the office and corporate campus. The associate may need to move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
