Network Analyst III

Description

Requirements

Extensive experience troubleshooting issues in large-scale enterprise network environments, including multi-site and distributed infrastructure

Hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies, including:

+ Next-Generation Firewalls (PA Series)

+ Panorama (centralized management)

+ Prisma (cloud security platform)

Strong experience supporting Cisco networking environments, including:

+ Routers and switches

+ Wireless infrastructure

+ Firewall/security appliances

Deep troubleshooting expertise across key networking protocols and technologies:

+ Routing: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP

+ Switching:
Spanning Tree

+ Secure connectivity: IPSEC / SSL VPNs, DMVPN

Experience performing packet-level analysis using Wireshark for root cause identification, latency issues, and application performance troubleshooting

Working knowledge of Cisco ISE / NAC for network access control, authentication, and segmentation

Experience utilizing network monitoring and management protocols/tools, including SNMP, Net Flow, and IP SLA

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

+ Experience supporting application performance and network optimization efforts, including root cause analysis across infrastructure layers

+ Background working in Oil & Gas or similar industrial environments, with exposure to:

+ Remote or field-based network operations

+ Coordination with field support technicians

+ Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-availability environments supporting critical infrastructure

+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including network engineering, security, and field operations
