Responsibilities
- Administer enterprise Linux and Windows Server environments including configuration, patching, troubleshooting, access management, and performance monitoring
- Manage directory services, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication, SSO, and hybrid identity environments
- Administer Microsoft Azure services including virtual machines, networking, security controls, backup, monitoring, and access control
- Support cloud security and governance including conditional access, role-based access control, logging, and monitoring
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including email, collaboration, file sharing, and security/compliance features
- Support compliance, retention, data protection, auditing, and information governance
- Support MFA, access controls, authentication workflows, and identity lifecycle processes
- Support networking services including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, and security policies
- Build, administer, and troubleshoot virtual machines using enterprise virtualization platforms
- Assist with backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations
- Serve as an escalation point and technical mentor for support teams
- Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and support processes
- Participate in IT projects including infrastructure modernization, migrations, and integrations
- Support compliance activities including audit support in regulated environments
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- 7+ years of systems administration, infrastructure, or managed services experience
- 5+ years supporting Microsoft enterprise technologies including Windows Server, directory services, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity environments
- 2-3 years of hands‑on Microsoft Azure administration experience
- Hands‑on experience administering enterprise Linux systems
- Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms
- Experience with ticketing, RMM, and documentation platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills across server, cloud, identity, virtualization, and networking
Skills and Abilities
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root‑cause analysis skills
- Working knowledge of Linux, Azure, virtualization, identity, and enterprise infrastructure
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Detail‑oriented approach to documentation, change control, and operational execution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to take initiative, own technical issues, and drive projects to completion
- Enterprise Linux certification or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Azure administrator or security certifications
- Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and cloud identity experience
- Experience with MFA and conditional access policies
- Experience with enterprise networking and security platforms
- Experience with backup and replication solutions
- Experience with Power Shell, cloud CLI, Bash, or other scripting tools
- Experience supporting HIPAA, PCI, or regulated enterprise environments
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or infrastructure migrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
