Sr. Engineer, Infrastructure; Cyber Security

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual who will achieve a high level of customer satisfaction that provides 24/7 reliable and responsive IT Infrastructure Services in over 5 countries.

• Lead and manage a team of technical specialists and outsourced contracted services to securely deliver IT Infrastructure Services in Americas and Europe according to the specifications agreed with Business, Manufacturing and IT organizations.
• As a member of the IT team, participate and contribute to the execution of the overall IT strategy.
• Formulate and implement plans and budgets in line with IT strategy and as befitting the department and needs and objectives of businesses.
• Track and communicate operational metrics (including trending over time) and identify process and service improvement opportunities.
• Participate in teams supporting transformation projects with the businesses, such as refresh and consolidation strategies and infrastructure technology rollouts.
• Ensure that infrastructure (networks, datacenters, servers and storage) incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and effective manner, and reduced by analyzing root causes, minimizing disruption to business operations and adhering to SLAs on availability and resolution response times.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering Computer Science
• 10 years’ experience in global Industry or IT environment
• 10 years’ experience in Petrochemical Environment
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with CISCO Networks and in-depth knowledge of routing/switching
• In-Depth knowledge of ITIL® policies and procedures including Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Analytical skills
• Enthusiastic, flexible and creative team player
• Must be proactive and able to operate independently
• Must be comfortable in a high-energy environment
• Cultural sensitivity and a ‘global mindset’.
• CISCO Network Certified is preferred.
