The Site Automation Implementation Specialist is responsible for hands‑on configuration, deployment, and support of construction automation applications across multiple active projects. This is a technician‑level role focused on building, configuring, and maintaining systems under the direction of the Implementation Lead. The Specialist ensures applications are properly set up, accessible, and functioning for project teams. The role supports multiple projects simultaneously and requires working directly with project teams and end users to resolve issues, support system rollout, and enable day‑to‑day use of deployed applications.
This position is designated as part‑time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in‑person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‑person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor.
- Configure and deploy site automation applications across assigned projects under direction of the Implementation Lead.
- Set up and maintain core applications including Team Works (primary system), Set Route, Smart Completions, Procore, iHawk, and visualization tools. Supervisor Hub (including DFLHA and related Power Apps) and other project‑or client‑specific tools.
- Apply standard configurations, templates, and seed files to support consistent project startup.
- Support environment setup activities coordinated with IS&T and application owners.
- Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions across supported applications.
- Support onboarding of new users and ensure proper system access across tools.
- Maintain access control in alignment with established requirements.
- Support license setup and role‑based access updates.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for applications across multiple projects.
- Monitor basic system usage, performance, and data quality indicators.
- Troubleshoot configuration, access, and user issues and elevate them when needed.
- Support system rollout, go‑live, and stabilization across active projects.
- Deliver hands‑on onboarding and basic training to project teams and end users.
- Support users during initial rollout and early system use.
- Work directly with field and project teams to resolve usability issues.
- Follow and reinforce standard configurations, naming conventions, and deployment practices.
- Document recurring issues, fixes, and lessons learned.
- Provide feedback to improve configurations, tools, and deployment approaches.
- Support consistent and repeatable deployment across projects.
- Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Information Systems, Construction Management, Engineering, and 2‑5 years of relevant experience, or 6‑9 years of relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting or configuring digital applications.
- Experience with system configuration, user access management, or application setup.
- Experience supporting software in project, construction, or operational environments.
- Comfortable working directly with end users and resolving day‑to‑day system issues.
- Experience with construction or project execution tools such as Team Works, Set Route, Smart Completions, Procore, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Familiarity with project workflows across construction, commissioning, quality, or project controls.
- Experience supporting system rollout, go‑live, and early‑use support in active environments.
- Hands‑on, execution‑focused individual who enjoys configuring systems and solving problems.
- Comfortable supporting multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Strong communicator able to work directly with project teams and end users.
- Willing to troubleshoot issues in real time and support field users.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, project‑driven environments.
- Up to 25% domestic travel may be required to support project deployments, training, and go‑live activities.
