OpportunityWe are seeking a Junior Technology Support Analyst to join our Firm. This position will be based in our Houston office (on-site). The Junior Technology Support Analyst provides technology support to the local office for areas including software, hardware, infrastructure, network services, mobile and remote services, audio visual, telephone and security systems.
Responsibilities- Provide a high level of customer service, accurate reporting, and collaborate with local and central technology professionals.
- Assemble, install, configure, test, image, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and peripherals including computers, printers, scanners, fax machines and mobile devices.
- Respond to local and central telephone helpline, support tickets and e‑mails, providing information, assessing problems, and offering assistance.
- Log all calls into the Firm’s call logging systems and resolve or escalate as appropriate.
- Provide application support for both local installations and Citrix‑based applications.
- Support troubleshooting and repair for laptops and desktops.
- Provide mobile device support including setup, configuration, end‑user training, and ongoing support.
- Assist with the Firm’s audio‑visual setup requirements and hardware set‑ups in offices and conference rooms.
- Maintain Firm policies and procedures related to computer technology.
- Ensure the security of the Firm’s systems by understanding risks and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Maintain a regular and reliable physical presence to address in‑office technical issues and provide hands‑on support to office personnel.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, attorneys and business services professionals.
- Perform frequent physical exertion, including walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive use of both hands, lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Manage Firm resources responsibly.
- Comply with and understand Firm operation, policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to administer Firm policies and procedures regarding ordering and configuring hardware.
- Thorough working knowledge of computer, printer and scanner hardware.
- Ability to exert moderate to high physical effort.
- Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates close attention to detail.
- Applies ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Handles sensitive matters and maintains confidentiality.
- Organizes and prioritizes work.
- Works well in a demanding and fast‑paced environment.
- Works well independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of related experience.
