Dynamics CE Functional Lead – Houston, TX

Avanade Inc. seeks a Dynamics CE Functional Lead to identify and understand clients’ customer relationship management needs by staying current on CRM technologies (particularly Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Platform) and working with Avanade solution developers to recommend appropriate CRM technologies and functions that meet specific client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Avanade delivery teams and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into CRM solutions.
• Coordinate with client leadership, end users, and IT staff to identify, design, and configure CRM solutions.
• Gather system requirements and own requirements management.
• Assist with transfer of functional requirements to development and test teams.
• Implement patches and upgrades in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Assist end‑users with CRM functionality.
• Travel domestically to client sites up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field, and at least four (4) years of experience performing CRM business analysis in a technology or IT consulting environment. A qualified applicant’s experience should include: 3+ years of experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems and business solutions implementations; 3+ years of experience performing business process reengineering around Microsoft Dynamics CRM Sales, Marketing, Field Service & Customer Service modules;

3+ years of experience planning, designing, building, testing, and maintaining CRM solutions; 3+ years of Power Platform experience, including SQL, Power BI, SharePoint, Azure implementation, Mobile Apps, Power Apps, VIVA, and/or Visio; 3+ years of client‑facing experience using formal delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or comparable project‑driven approaches); 3+ years of experience with formal business requirements gathering and defining functional design and working with offshore teams;

and Microsoft Certified in Dynamics 365 Fundamentals.

Compensation: $133,078 - $143,000 per year.

Avanade seeks a Business Development Executive who is a deal hunter, deal maker, originator, and self‑starter, capable of developing and winning new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions, particularly in digital transformation and consulting services such as cloud implementation and business applications integration.

Motivated AI Intern to support data, analytics, and AI initiatives. Work closely with the Client Solution Leader, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze data, build basic machine learning models, and communicate insights through clear presentations and documentation.

• Assist in data exploration, cleaning, and preprocessing for analytics and AI projects.
• Prepare for demos.
• Develop and run Python‑based scripts for data analysis and experimentation.
• Support the design and testing of machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
• Analyze model outputs and help interpret results for business use cases.
