A tech services company is seeking a Test Lead in Houston, TX to oversee automation testing for a consumer-facing connectivity platform. This hybrid role combines hands‑on Selenium and API test development with test planning, execution, and team leadership.

• Lead day‑to‑day QA and testing activities for automation initiatives across UI and backend services.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium Web Driver and API testing tools.
• Define test strategies, automation frameworks, and execution plans aligned with project goals.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test scenarios, validate requirements, and improve coverage.
• Track test progress, manage defects, report quality metrics, and mentor junior testers on automation best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on Automation.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium Web Driver, Java or Python, and API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Version Control systems, and Defect Tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work full‑time onsite in Houston, TX.

• Experience testing Wi‑Fi systems or working in the airline domain.
• Exposure to cloud testing environments such as AWS or Azure and containerized deployments such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner.
