Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations. Ability to use scripting languages to leverage Tableau's APIs (JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API). Knowledge of Tableau Server best practices for scalability, performance, content management and governance. Process ad-hoc data and reporting requests/enhancements, including maintenance of existing reports & dashboards. Conduct performance tuning for Tableau and SQL views. Understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts, familiarity with Amazon Redshift a plus.
Ability to work in the finance domain with Finance data (AR, AP, GL, P&L, BS). Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments. Tool development:
Develop tools that support access, integration, modeling and visualizing of data using SQL (stored procedures and ETL scripting), Python deployment, including packaging (pip) and web frameworks (Flask/Django), familiarity with Orchestration tools like Informatica, Pentaho, Airflow is an added plus.
