Test Lead

Location – Houston, TX (5 days work from office) Rate – 85/hr on C2C

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA Lead to lead a team of QA testers in the development, execution, and optimization of manual and automated test cases. This role will focus on testing a JavaScript-based front end  API back end, ensuring high-quality standards across both technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development and testing methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with testing JavaScript and related front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

Desirable Skills & Experience

• In-depth knowledge of .NET framework, API testing, and tools such as Postman, Rest Sharp, or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based services and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in agile teams.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools for web applications and APIs.
