This role sits at the forefront of the evolution of search, where traditional SEO meets AI-driven discovery and answer engines. You will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies that improve visibility across both classic search engines and emerging AI-powered environments such as generative search interfaces and answer systems. Working within a fast-evolving digital marketing context, you will help build scalable frameworks that combine keyword strategy, technical SEO, and AI-enabled workflows.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate complex search behaviors into structured, high-performing content systems. You will also play a key part in defining how automation and AI agents can enhance SEO efficiency and insight generation. This is a hands‑on, strategic position where experimentation, adaptability, and analytical thinking are essential. - Drive end-to-end SEO and GEO strategies that improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer environments, ensuring alignment with evolving search behaviors.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies across technical, on‑page, and content optimization to improve organic performance.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities in AI-driven search experiences, including generative engines and conversational interfaces.
- Conduct keyword research focused on intent, semantics, and conversational query structures.
- Optimize content for AI search formats, including featured snippets, entity-based search, and generative answer systems.
- Build and leverage AI tools and agents to automate keyword clustering, SEO audits, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve indexing, crawling, schema, and performance issues.
- Translate SEO and AI search insights into clear, actionable reporting tied to business outcomes.
- Strong experience in SEO with a forward‑looking understanding of AI‑driven search evolution, combining technical expertise, analytical thinking, and hands‑on execution.
- 4-5+ years of experience in SEO, ideally within an agency or fast‑paced digital environment.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on‑page optimization, and content strategy development.
- Hands‑on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or custom agents to support SEO workflows.
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI search experiences (e.g., AI Overviews, Copilot‑style interfaces).
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, and Looker Studio.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with structured data, entity‑based SEO, or semantic search optimization is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
