Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience managing website performance, SEO, or digital experience.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, Hotjar, etc.).
- Experience with UX research/testing and website accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The Website Manager is responsible for ensuring the company’s digital properties deliver exceptional user experience, present up to date content, are highly searchable across search engines, and function seamlessly across devices and platforms. This role combines expertise in web marketing, SEO, UX, and technical site performance to drive engagement, conversion, and business growth. The Website Manager works to optimize the content, usability, searchability, and functionality of the company’s websites.
EssentialFunctions & Responsibilities
- Web Marketing:
Update and edit new content to each website in a timely manner. - Website Usability & User Experience (UX):
Monitor and enhance website navigation, layout, and overall user experience. - Conduct regular usability testing, A/B testing, and analysis of site behavior (e.g., heatmaps, clickstream data).
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure sites are accessible, intuitive, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor SEO performance of website and execute on-page and technical tactics to maximize search engine visibility.
- Perform regular SEO audits (site speed, mobile optimization, indexing, metadata, etc.) and document improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing and local teams to ensure copy is up to date and optimized for both user experience and search ranking.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and search performance to identify opportunities for growth.
- Work with web admin team to ensure site stability, uptime, and page load speed meet or exceed industry standards.
- Partner with IT/development teams to address technical bugs, implement new functionality, and optimize backend performance.
- Oversee integration of analytics, marketing automation, and other third-party tools to ensure seamless performance.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and recommend enhancements.
- Track KPIs for website performance, usability, and SEO.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Hotjar to measure performance.
- Provide regular performance reports with actionable recommendations to leadership.
