Job Title:
QA Automation Engineer (HPE Infrastructure)
Location:
Spring, TX (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite) Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with HPE Servers, Network Switches, and Storage Controllers.
- Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Automated testing and script development.
- RESTful API testing.
- UI automation testing.
- Issue management and escalation triage.
- Collaborate effectively with Architects, Stakeholders, API Developers, Web UI Developers, and Database Developers.
- Participate in Sprint Planning and backlog activities.
- Use SPIRA/JIRA to log, track, and resolve defects.
- Manage defects by logging new issues, providing debug updates, and tracking them through resolution.
- Update test execution status, document test failures, participate in triage, and provide weekly status reports.
- Prepare weekly test reports, including planned vs. actual execution, pass/fail metrics, defect status, issue count, and issue aging.
- Establish test requirements, methodologies, and tool usage in collaboration with PDS and PDC development teams.
