Job SummaryThe Sr. Solutions Architect – Infrastructure builds and maintains a cutting-edge IT infrastructure for Community Health Choice. This position administers enterprise applications in a Microsoft Windows environment, installs, configures, and maintains software applications, and resolves application issues. The role also manages and designs the Active Directory environment and may be required to work after hours and weekends.
Job Specifications and Core Competencies- Function as technical team lead for MS Active Directory / Exchange environment, providing oversight on daily activities, setting priorities, mentoring, and communicating significant problems or issues to management.
- Oversee the architecture and administration of Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, DNS, ADFS, DFS, GPOs, and SSO software.
- Oversee the architecture and light administration of Microsoft Exchange servers, Microsoft 365, and Fax Maker.
- Provide AD Forest-level service architecture planning, third-party tool deployment, and integration strategies.
- Develop and maintain procedures, processes, and documentation related to Active Directory and associated technologies.
- Responsible for Power Shell scripting, data analysis, server monitoring, performance optimization, and server documentation; ensure systems uptime through automated scripting.
- Translate business needs into detailed requirement specifications and develop architecture specification deliverables that map customer business requirements into complete information systems.
- Lead architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines.
- Conduct complex technical data-warehouse discussions on modeling, integration, and overall technology solutions and design.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve problems considering system capacity, limitations, and desired results.
- Provide architectural direction for multiple medium-to-large sized projects concurrently at various stages of their lifecycle or a large project full-time.
- Perform systems design and analysis.
- Work closely with technical and business groups to ensure that physical design meets the functional and performance requirements of the application.
- Actively contribute to departmental goal achievement, including specific departmental process improvement plans.

- High School Diploma or GED; ITIL Certified or obtain within first 6 months of employment.
- Seven years of experience analyzing, designing Microsoft Active Directory and/or MS Exchange environments (a bachelor’s degree can offset to 4 years; an associate degree to 6 years).
- Three years minimum technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Above-average verbal communication and heavy public contact.
- Excellent writing and composing skills for correspondence and reports.
- Analytical, design, MS Word, MS Excel skills.
- ITIL certification.
Hybrid work schedule with occasional late nights and weekends for system upgrades and special projects.
