Infrastructure Implementation Specialist

The Infrastructure Implementation Specialist (IS) serves as the onsite technical lead for data center connectivity and infrastructure deployments. This role is responsible for overseeing the installation, validation, and delivery of physical network infrastructure, including fiber, copper, active network equipment, and connectivity between racks, rows, and data halls. The IS acts as the primary field owner for execution quality, installation sequencing, troubleshooting, and deployment readiness.

Working across enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, and edge environments, the IS ensures infrastructure is installed according to design specifications, tested successfully, and delivered on schedule. Success in this role is measured by quality of execution, deployment readiness, issue resolution, schedule adherence, and safe project delivery.
