Server Engineer - onsite

Location: Spring Texas (On-Site)

Job Type: Long Term Contract

Interviews will be 30 minute Zoom video then second interview will be 30 minute in person interview. Need only local to Spring, TX.

• Oil & gas experience preferred.
• Industrial IT Server Engineers design, implement, maintain, and optimize Windows-based virtual Digital Enablement Platform (DEP) environments.
• Will work in the office and provide support to customers, including 12-hour on-call shifts during the day for a week at a time.
• Expertise in VMware virtualization, DELL computer hardware, performance monitoring tools like Solar Winds, Active Directory administration, and strong communication skills to collaborate with customers and cybersecurity partners.

• Manage and support Windows virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Utilize VMware for environment virtualization, configuration, and maintenance of virtual infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DELL computer hardware.
• Perform performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting using Solar Winds or similar tools.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user/group management and access controls.
• Collaborate with customers and cybersecurity partners to address technical issues and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations, procedures, and “best practices”. Server project work, on-call rotation, troubleshooting remote servers.
