Job Description & How to Apply Below
Responsibilities
- Set and drive the enterprise systems strategy and multi-year roadmap across GTM, Finance, People, and Operations — directly tied to company priorities.
- Audit the current technology landscape, identify redundancy and gaps, and lead a disciplined effort to streamline, consolidate, and rationalize the stack.
- Own the architecture and integration of core business systems so data flows cleanly and teams stop working around their tools instead of with them.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to embed AI into core business systems and workflows — evaluating tools for data privacy, security, and governance risk before they reach production.
- Establish governance for system selection, implementation, and spend — bringing rigor to how we evaluate, buy, and adopt technology.
- Partner with the CFO on technology investment decisions, total cost of ownership, vendor strategy, and contract negotiation.
- Build and lead a high-performing Business Systems team, including admins, analysts, and engineers as the function scales.
- Own data integrity, reporting infrastructure, and the foundations that make our analytics trustworthy across the business.
- Define and uphold standards for security, access, and compliance across all business applications.
- Translate the needs of business stakeholders into scalable system solutions — and push back when a process problem is masquerading as a tooling problem.
- 10+ years in business systems, IT, or enterprise applications, with several years leading the function at a high-growth company.
- Proven track record streamlining and consolidating a sprawling tech stack into something coherent and scalable.
- Deep hands‑on knowledge of core SaaS business systems — CRM, ERP, financial systems, HRIS, and the integration layers that connect them.
- Strong financial and commercial instincts: you think in TCO, you negotiate hard, and you can defend a roadmap to a CFO.
- Experience building and leading teams from a small footprint, ideally in SaaS or another fast‑moving software environment.
- A bias for action and comfort with ambiguity — you'd rather ship a clear improvement than wait for the perfect plan.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication; you can move fluidly between an executive readout and a working session with admins.
