Program Manager – Enterprise SaaS Implementations

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: Onsite during the first 90 days, transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Travel: Approximately 1–2 weeks per month to customer locations (travel time counts as in-office time)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing enterprise software company that develops a sophisticated cloud-based SaaS platform serving the Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and PEO industries. Their software powers mission-critical business operations for organizations across the country, helping clients streamline payroll, benefits administration, tax compliance, and workforce management.

As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex enterprise software implementations from contract execution through successful go-live. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems, building trusted customer relationships, and translating operational challenges into successful technology solutions.

This is not a traditional Product Manager position. Instead, it blends Program Management, Business Analysis, Implementation Consulting, and Customer Success into a highly visible client-facing leadership role.

You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle while coordinating internal technical teams, implementation consultants, and customer stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with an exceptional customer experience.

• Manage multiple enterprise software implementations from discovery through successful deployment.
• Own project timelines, milestones, risks, budgets, and customer expectations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Serve as the central point of contact for customers throughout implementation.
• Lead implementation meetings and executive project reviews.

• Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer business processes and operational workflows.
• Ask insightful questions to uncover customer needs and implementation requirements.
• Document functional and technical requirements in a clear, actionable format.
• Perform business process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Translate business requirements into implementation plans for internal technical teams.

• Build trusted relationships with executive and operational customer stakeholders.
• Guide customers through best practices and implementation decisions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations with confidence.
• Resolve implementation challenges while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Drive customer confidence throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Coordinate implementation consultants, developers, data conversion specialists, and customers.
• Oversee software configuration activities.
• Coordinate interface development and data conversion efforts.
• Monitor project deliverables and proactively remove roadblocks.
• Balance competing priorities across multiple active implementations.

• Continuously improve implementation methodologies and project management processes.
• Develop standardized implementation documentation and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer onboarding and implementation efficiency.
• Help shape scalable implementation processes as the company continues to grow.
