PT Technician Hardware/Software Pool (NW) SUMMARY
Installs and repairs personal computer hardware.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Install, modify, troubleshoot and repair personal computer hardware and software.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure good operating conditions.
- Communicate with users to detect possible problems.
- Assist in the evaluation of new equipment to be supported by the Technical Support area.
- Maintain inventory to ensure maintenance and repair of computers.
- Perform regular hard drive clean up and maintenance.
- Maintain files for software documentation.
- Research and test new software packages.

EDUCATIONAssociate’s degree or certification in a related field required.
2 years directly related experience may be considered in lieu of required degree.
EXPERIENCE1 year recent experience in hard/software technical support required (HCCS experience is considered on a two for one basis).

General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements.
May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
