SR WEB UX DEVELOPER
Job SummaryUnder general supervision, the Sr Web UX Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the university’s website and sub‑sites, ensuring high‑quality web‑based user experiences and innovative application interfaces that support the needs of the university’s web services. The role also involves suggesting improvements in internal processes and proposing feasible solutions.
Essential Duties- Serve as Web Manager for the TSU Website & sub‑sites, overseeing the use of the content management system (Modern Campus, Cascade CMS, Word Press, HTML, JavaScript, and database‑related services). Perform CMS training for the Marketing Coordinator and Content Managers. Design and manage web forms (Gravity Forms and Coffee Cup) and front‑desk kiosk interfaces to support online form flexibility.
- Administer account, navigation, template management, web accessibility, and broken‑link maintenance. Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics via the CMS, Google Analytics, and other tools. Apply SEO strategies to maximize the online presence of TSU.
- Develop new website projects by designing applicable user flows, UI wireframes, storyboards, and other artifacts. Oversee user research, usability testing, and design testing for projects.
- Manage Mobile App Content (MyTSU App), including creating new app versions and updating content.
- Perform live‑streaming/event recording and manage related webpage content, including Board of Regents meetings and commencement events.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:

- Expert knowledge in multiple disciplines, serving as the ultimate subject‑matter expert in several professional areas.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.

Four (4) years of hands‑on support experience. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Working Conditions- Routine office environment.
- Extended periods of sitting or standing in one location.
- Occasional light stooping, lifting, or carrying of objects.
- Use of video display terminals.
