Job Description
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support and enhance the organization's cybersecurity strategy, operations, and risk management initiatives. This role is responsible for securing enterprise environments across on-premises, cloud, OT, and IoT systems while implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring adherence to cybersecurity best practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong security engineering expertise, experience with modern security technologies, and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
This will be a direct hire and this person will sit onsite 4 days a week with 1 day remote. (you can chose between Monday an Friday).
- Deploy, manage, and optimize security technologies including firewalls, WAF, IPS, CASB, EDR/DLP, MFA, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Implement and maintain security standards across IT, OT, IC, IoT, cloud, networking, data security, encryption, and IAM environments.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security monitoring activities.
- Monitor and report on security incidents, risks, and program effectiveness to leadership.
- Mentor team members and promote cybersecurity best practices throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 7+ years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
- Hands‑on experience managing firewalls, IPS, WAF, SIEM, EDR/DLP, vulnerability management, and cloud security solutions.
- Experience with security operations, threat modeling, risk management, and incident response.
- Working knowledge of OT/ICS security.
- Experience securing workloads in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks including SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CSF, and ITIL.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, TOGAF, or CIPT.
