$250,000-$300,000
Ncounter is supporting a technology-driven organisation that is investing heavily in its modern workplace and cloud platforms. We're looking for an experienced Platform Specialist to take ownership of a critical Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring colleagues benefit from secure, reliable, and highly productive collaboration services.
This is a broad infrastructure role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across Microsoft 365, Azure, automation, and modern workplace technologies. You'll help shape the future of collaboration, introducing new capabilities while maintaining the resilience, security, and performance expected within a highly regulated environment.
You'll be responsible for administering and improving Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive, while supporting Azure-based infrastructure and identity services. You'll also play an important role in driving automation through Power Shell and APIs, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.
As the organisation continues to embrace AI-powered productivity tools, you'll help introduce and support Microsoft Copilot and related technologies, ensuring they are deployed securely and deliver genuine value to end users. Previous commercial AI experience isn't essential, but an interest in emerging technologies and modern workplace innovation is important.
We're looking for someone with:- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and One Drive
- Good knowledge of Azure services, particularly identity, networking and cloud infrastructure
- Hands‑on Power Shell scripting and automation experience
- Experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms within complex environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud and end‑user technologies
- An understanding of Microsoft Teams voice, meetings and integrations would be beneficial
- Experience working within regulated, high‑availability or security‑conscious organisations
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, workflow automation, security and compliance tooling, or infrastructure‑as‑code would be advantageous, but the priority is finding a well‑rounded Microsoft platform engineer with excellent operational skills and a passion for improving the modern workplace.
If you're looking for an opportunity to influence a growing cloud platform, introduce new technologies, and work across a diverse Microsoft estate, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
