Senior Retail Energy IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex IT projects within the energy sector
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Engage with stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Monitor and manage project budgets
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support
• Ensure detailed project tracking and senior presentation decks

• 10+ years of experience in software development, application, and data architecture
• 3+ years of Retail Energy Experience
• Strong knowledge of system design, cloud computing, security principles, and modern development frameworks
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
• Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies
• Personable, team-oriented, respectful, and empathetic individual
