We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and coach a large Agile Release Train supporting enterprise Data & Insights initiatives. This role serves as the servant leader for multiple Scrum teams, driving Program Increment (PI) planning, cross-team coordination, dependency management, and continuous improvement across global delivery organizations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading SAFe Agile Release Trains, facilitating PI Planning, managing Azure Dev Ops, coordinating globally distributed teams, and partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver complex enterprise initiatives. Candidates interested in long-term employment and conversion to a full-time role are highly preferred.

• Lead and facilitate all SAFe Agile Release Train ceremonies including:
• Program Increment (PI) Planning
• ART Sync
• Scrum of Scrums
• Product Owner Sync
• System Demos
• Inspect & Adapt workshops
• Serve as servant leader and coach for multiple Agile delivery teams.
• Remove impediments, manage risks, and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize flow of value across delivery teams.
• Ensure transparency of delivery metrics, dashboards, work items, and reporting within Azure Dev Ops.
• Coordinate planning and execution across globally distributed delivery teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product management, engineering, and platform teams.
• Manage staffing profiles, resource planning, and portfolio alignment.
• Support business planning, funding requests, and strategic roadmap execution.
• Maintain Agile governance, documentation, communication channels, and reporting.
• Coach Scrum Masters and Agile teams on SAFe best practices.
• Support adoption of Lean-Agile principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 5+ years of Release Train Engineer or enterprise Agile leadership experience
• Strong experience leading SAFe Agile Release Trains
• Expert knowledge of:
• SAFe
• Scrum
• Kanban
• Experience facilitating PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt events
• Advanced Azure Dev Ops experience including:
• Boards
• Queries
• Dashboards
• Area Paths
• Permissions
• Experience coordinating multiple Scrum teams simultaneously
• Strong dependency management and risk management experience
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformations
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with globally distributed delivery teams
• Strong servant leadership and Agile coaching skills

• Experience with Target Process
