Design and implement scalable and reliable approaches to support or automate decision making across the business. Apply data science techniques and tools to solve complex problems where solution approach is unclear. Acquire data through building appropriate SQL/ETL queries and importing processes via company interfaces to Oracle, Red Shift, and Spark. Build relationships with stakeholders and counterparts. Analyze data for trends and validity by inspecting distributions, exploring relationships, constructing transformations, and investigating anomalies.
Build models using statistical, mathematical, econometric, network, social network, natural language processing, machine learning, genetic algorithms, and neural networks. Validate models against alternative approaches, expected and observed outcomes, and key performance indicators. Implement models in production while meeting computational demands, accuracy, and reliability requirements.
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least one year of experience in the relevant occupation; or a Bachelor’s degree with five years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience.
- One year of experience building statistical and machine learning models using large datasets from multiple resources.
- Experience writing SQL scripts for analysis and data migration.
- Proficiency applying specialized modeling software including R, Python, or MATLAB.

BenefitsBase salary range: $136,000 – $184,000 annually (40 hours per week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm). The package may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units.
