Lead the future of data engineering and analytics.
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join a high-profile data transformation programme in Houston. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable data platforms and pipelines that power enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
This is an initial 6-month W2 contract with a strong possibility of extension, supporting a long-term programme expected to run for up to 2.5 years
.
- Lead one or more data engineering projects from design through implementation.
- Architect, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Design and implement modern big data solutions capable of processing high-volume, high-velocity data.
- Drive best practices across data engineering, including development, testing, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions.
- Influence key stakeholders through data-driven insights and analytical outcomes.
- Support and enhance enterprise analytics and management information platforms.
- Develop and deploy advanced data processing and analytics solutions.
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted technical leader across cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience leading data engineering projects and technical teams.
- Strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions and big data technologies.
- Strong background in data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Hybrid working environment in Houston, TX
- Initial 6-month W2 or C2c contract
