Compute Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Compute Engineer to manage, build, and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, server provisioning, VMware virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure operations. This role requires hands-on experience in deploying, securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows server environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Experience building and provisioning enterprise Windows servers.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Active Directory
- Group Policy (GPO)
- DNS
- DHCP
- Windows Security Hardening
- Experience with Windows patch management and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere administration.
- Familiarity with server monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Basic Power Shell scripting skills.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with VMware vSphere administration.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of server backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise data center environments.
