Contract Specialist III

The Contract Specialist is responsible for negotiating and managing contracts for oil and gas projects. They will work with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that contracts are fair and equitable, and that they meet the needs of the company.

Job Description
Essential Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Redline and negotiate terms and conditions in IT-related agreements for Professional Services, software licenses, SaaS, data licensing, hardware, telecom, SOWs, Order Forms, etc. with selected contractors and vendors.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as technical leads, risk management, tax group, and legal teams as well as working with outside legal counsel, to ensure that contracts are drafted to protect OXY s interests and align with project requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 5 plus years of directly related experience and a bachelor's degree in order to be eligible to convert to full-time employee.

Experience with redlining and negotiating terms and conditions in IT-related agreements for Professional Services, software licenses, SaaS, data licensing, hardware, telecom, SOWs, Order Forms, etc. with selected contractors and vendors.
