We are looking for a Web Content Specialist to support digital content updates and site maintenance for an organization based in Houston, Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can manage website content accurately, improve page presentation, and contribute to a user-friendly online experience. The role requires hands-on experience with Word Press, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance content publishing with UX-focused best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update website pages, ensuring content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards.
• Publish, edit, and organize digital content within Word Press and other content management tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to format web content in a way that supports usability and clear communication.
• Apply UX and UX/UI principles to improve layout, readability, and the overall visitor experience.
• Create and adjust visual assets using Canva to support web pages and online content initiatives.
• Monitor site content for consistency, functionality, and proper presentation across web properties.
• Assist with content organization efforts, including page structure, navigation updates, and content placement decisions.
