Desktop Support Analyst (PC Support)
Location:
Houston, TX (Onsite)
Employment Type:
Full-Time
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows 11 operating systems
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and Office applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and Active Directory
- Configure and support laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, and mobile devices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
- Perform new hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities, including equipment provisioning and recovery
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system
- Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management of end-user equipment
- Provide onsite and remote support for local users, as well as physical support for the Aruba Networks hardware
- Support Aruba wireless access points and wireless network troubleshooting
- Work with senior network engineers on network deployments, upgrades, and optimization projects
- Participate in IT projects, hardware refreshes, office moves, and infrastructure upgrades
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty support, and network-related issues
- Maintain compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
- Participate in after-hours support and maintenance activities as needed
- 3+ years of desktop support or IT support experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Aruba switches and wireless infrastructure
- Strong understanding of:
Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra , TCP/IP networking including DNS, DHCP, VLANs - Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Microsoft certifications related to Endpoint Management or Microsoft 365
- Experience with Intune and endpoint management solutions
- Experience supporting VoIP systems
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work onsite in an office and data center environment
- Ability to travel locally to support office locations when required
