We are currently seeking a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job SummaryThe newly established task forces represent a coordinated national response to the growing threat posed by transnational criminal organizations, human smuggling networks, and foreign terrorist organizations operating across U.S. borders. Created under recent executive direction, these task forces work to dismantle criminal networks, disrupt global supply chains, and prevent the movement of illicit goods—particularly synthetic drugs—into the country. Their mission requires close collaboration across multiple government entities, real‑time intelligence sharing, bulk data analysis, and integrated operational planning.
The task forces conduct global interdiction efforts, develop supply‑chain intelligence dashboards, and rely on multidisciplinary support across criminal and investigative analysis, forensic accounting, cyber reconnaissance, data analytics, GEOINT/mapping, management consulting, and strategic communications. To execute their objectives, they integrate and analyze diverse data holdings including:
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) analysis in support of federal law enforcement or intelligence operations to include:
- ArcGIS, including geospatial data management, map creation, spatial analysis, and integration of multiple geospatial data sources.
- GEOINT tradecraft to identify, visualize, and assess patterns related to transnational crime, illicit trade, drug trafficking, human smuggling/trafficking, financial networks, and other HSI investigative priorities.
- Geospatial intelligence products that support case development, operational planning, surveillance activities, field operations, and investigative decision‑making.
- Satellite imagery, aerial imagery, open‑source geospatial data, and law‑enforcement databases to generate actionable intelligence.
- Creating geospatial visualizations and analytical overlays that assist agents and analysts in identifying routes, networks, infrastructure, border movement, or geographic indicators tied to criminal activity.
- Proficiency using additional GEOINT or imagery tools such as Google Earth, ESRI extensions, or similar platforms commonly employed in federal investigations.
- Communicating geospatial findings clearly through written reports, briefings, and data visualizations for investigative teams, leadership, and interagency partners.
- Candidates may substitute six (6) years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Prior experience with investigative support to law enforcement agencies
