Hydrocarbon Accounting Application Engineer
We are hiring a Hydrocarbon Accounting Application Engineer with Energy Components (EC) software experience. The right candidate should have a high degree of knowledge in EC Production/Transport/Sales modules and be willing to contribute and strengthen teams knowledge. Candidate must have a strong ability to understand the business requirements and be able to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical, to drive and influence IT strategies.
They must have a good understanding of agile delivery methodology and experience of working in a global team. Candidates MUST have Energy Components software experience as this is critical for this role.
Functional Requirements:
- Build good relationship with MSP and help vendor to understand our business priority.
- Build relationship with Business Units and being their sounding board.
- Ability to establish relationship with cross platforms and/or product lines.
- Ability to influence and drive business outcomes.
- Recognize the work of others including MSP.
- Contribute to the growth team Organizational Capability.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of technical working experience in EC.
- Experience in hydrocarbon allocation model building.
- Strong integration skills and deep experience in ETL (extract, transform, load).
- Develop and maintain effective application technical support documentation.
- Working knowledge of relational databases Oracle.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas production.
- Ansible with Azure and Azure pipeline.
- Desirable:
Familiar with EC RESTful API and Cloud technology (both AWS and Azure).
Deliverables:
- Solution design and documentation.
- Instruction to MSP provider.
- Create Azure pipeline to provisioned azure resources (e.g. VM, fileshare, etc.)
