- Design target-state LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall, and VPN architecture.
- Define IP addressing, VLAN, routing, DNS/DHCP, and network segmentation strategy.
- Create migration approach, cutover methodology, rollback plans, and migration runbooks.
- Plan network migration waves by site, department, and switches.
- Coordinate migration schedules with endpoint, server, cybersecurity, and application teams.
- Lead weekend cutovers and migration command-center activities.
- Configure and deploy switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, routing, and VPN connectivity.
- Implement VLAN, routing, firewall, NAT/PAT, and network security policies.
- Implement cloud connectivity and networking
- Support server and application migration readiness activities.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, monitoring, and operational support readiness.
Lead the end-to-end design, planning, testing, and execution of the network separation and migration program. The role owns network architecture, migration execution, application connectivity, cutover planning, and stakeholder coordination across infrastructure, security, endpoint, and application work streams.
Key Responsibilities Migration Strategy & Architecture- Design target-state LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall, and VPN architecture.
- Define IP addressing, VLAN, routing, DNS/DHCP, and network segmentation strategy.
- Create migration approach, cutover methodology, rollback plans, and migration runbooks.
