AV Technical Support Specialist
This on-site AV Technical Support Specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to support advanced conference room AV systems within a major government building. You will be integral to ensuring seamless communication and collaboration experiences through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and end-user support for cutting-edge AV technologies in a high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily AV support for meetings, events, and end users in the 800 Capitol building.
- Perform proactive site walkthroughs to identify and resolve AV system issues before impacting users.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Polycom, Logitech, Neat, and App Space systems.
- Monitor system health using Microsoft Intune, Crestron, and Logitech management platforms.
- Assist with meeting scheduling, camera tracking, and AV setup for seamless event execution.
- Conduct end-user training on AV systems and digital signage solutions such as App Space.
- Run system health reports and escalate technical issues to senior AV staff as necessary.
- Research and evaluate new AV hardware and software products to enhance system capabilities.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in AV, Microsoft 365, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on end-user technical support experience.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Polycom, or Logitech AV systems.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance of AV hardware and software.
- On-site work authorization for Houston, TX.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and App Space management platforms.
- Experience supporting AV systems in government or corporate enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of digital signage and AV scheduling tools.
- Strong customer service, communication, and end-user training skills.
