ThePosition:
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst to lead data governance, data quality, business intelligence, operational analytics, and process improvement initiatives across the Service organization. This role will serve as a trusted employee, ensuring enterprise data is accurate, consistent, and actionable while developing scalable reporting solutions that support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, enjoys solving complex business problems, and is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights.
This individual will establish data governance standards, improve reporting processes, identify automation opportunities, and leverage AI-enabled tools to increase operational efficiency.
Data Governance & Quality
- Develop and maintain data governance standards, business rules, and data definitions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple business systems.
- Perform data validation, root cause analysis, and data quality assessments.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, governance documentation, and reporting standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards.
- Analyze operational, financial, warranty, service, and vendor performance data.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Query) to streamline workflows.
- Recommend system enhancements that improve operational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered analytics, and automation tools.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies that enhance reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
- Assist business leaders in adopting AI-driven solutions responsibly and effectively.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years
of experience in:- Business Intelligence
- Data Analytics
- Data Governance
- Data Quality
- Operational Analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced Power BI experience, including data modeling and DAX.
- Experience with Airtable administration and workflow development.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, One Drive, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Query.
- Experience creating executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Azure, Fabric, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience supporting service operations, field service, supply chain, or manufacturing organizations.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted analytics.
- Upwards of 15%
- Contract role, Houston office / hybrid / remote

For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated annual base salary for this role is between $84,000 - $110,000 This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The base salary offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, location, or other factors related to the role.
