About the RoleCare Set is seeking an Infrastructure and Platform System & Dev Ops Specialist to own the operational reliability, security posture, and Dev Ops automation of our healthcare data platform. In this role, you will lead the technical administration of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, identity governance, and endpoint security. Operating under a hybrid delegation model, you maintain full internal ownership and accountability over security, compliance, and core architecture while orchestrating and auditing day-to-day helpdesk, imaging, and maintenance tasks executed by our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Responsibilities- Serve as administrative owner for such as; but not limited to:
Google Workspace, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Power BI. - Administer identity providers (Microsoft Entra , Google Identity), enforce organization-wide MFA, and govern conditional access based on training and regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Git Hub Enterprise security policies (2FA enforcement, branch protection).
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for external MSP partners, defining laptop build standards, delegating routine execution, and auditing performance against strict SLAs.
- Enforce HIPAA compliance standards, maintain BAA configurations, and implement data pipeline controls.
- Manage the lifecycle of virtual environments, including secure provisioning, contractor access, and decommissioning processes.
- Oversee foundational compute, storage, and access configurations for data analytics platforms.
- Enforce strict separation of administrative privileges and credentials across all system environments.
- Audit hardware asset inventory and maintain internal ticketing systems to monitor support metrics and service quality.
- Support external audits, complete client security assessments, and ensure ongoing compliance with industry security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Manage integration life cycles for third-party connectors and administer active security, vulnerability scanning, and continuous monitoring tooling.
- Oversee enterprise hardware procurement operations to ensure scalable resource availability.
- Conduct recurring tool audits with Finance to identify and eliminate shadow IT, manage hardware/software inventories, and optimize platform licensing.
- 7+ years of professional experience in IT systems administration, Dev Ops engineering, or technical operations.
- Proven ability to start work on day one and hit the ground running.
- Deep, hands-on experience managing and administering Databricks, GCP, and Google Workspace.
- Strong background with Git Hub Enterprise, CI/CD pipeline administration, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven ability to define execution standards, delegate tasks, and audit third-party MSP output against SLAs.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS MDM tools, full-disk encryption, device provisioning, and remote remediation.
- Experience in healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments, including familiarity with CMS Privacy rules.
- Exposure to automated compliance frameworks and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audit preparation.
- Knowledge of network security controls (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs) and penetration testing baselines.
- Experience working with MSPs is preferred.
