Infosys Consulting, the management and technology consulting unit of Infosys Ltd, is seeking motivated Manufacturing Industry Consultants. Management Consultants seeking long-term growth and career-enhancing opportunities will find both as part of our team of front‑runners in Manufacturing Industry consulting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in the Manufacturing sector with a strong understanding of one or more of the following industries:
Automotive, Aerospace, Defense and Industrial Products. Successful candidates will understand manufacturing, distribution and supply chain for discrete and continuous manufacturing processes, including enabling technologies. A key focus area would be the demonstrated ability to re‑imagine manufacturing and help our clients innovate and transform their companies with AI. The ability to create collaborative partnerships internally and externally is highly desirable. Role also requires practical experience in procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier collaboration, contract management and ERP‑enabled procurement operating models across both direct and indirect procurement organizations.
As a Principal, you will lead and manage delivery of consulting engagements, being responsible for quality, budget and staffing, working closely with senior client managers. You will contribute to the firm’s development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing knowledge. You will be recognized as an expert in your respective domain and contribute to advancing Infosys Consulting’s thought leadership in the industry.
Strategy& Design
- Develop strategy and implementation roadmaps to help manufacturing companies transform and modernize their operations for improved throughput, quality and efficiency
- Lead customer research, customer journey and persona definition exercises, design end-user experiences,
- Support business case and roadmap definitions by linking digital capabilities tow business value levers/benefits
- Assess direct material procurement processes including sourcing, supplier qualification, supplier development, should-cost analysis, spend management, supplier performance management and procurement risk mitigation
- Assess indirect procurement processes including MRO, facilities, logistics, transportation, IT, contingent labor and professional services procurement to identify savings opportunities and process improvements
- Define procurement target operating models, governance structures, controls, buying channels and procurement organization designs that improve compliance, spend visibility and supplier performance
- Lead the design and delivery of client advisory, solution delivery and organizational transformation engagements in standalone projects or as part of wider client programs
- Advise clients on strategy and detailed use cases by leveraging insights from industry best practices
- Lead and manage a team of consultants to develop concise and practical strategies, roadmap and/or re‑engineering program recommendations with a clear implementation path
- Seek out client input in a structured manner to better understand needs and develop ideas for how to meet those needs
