Silpa Companies is hiring a Penetration Tester for client engagements that focus on authenticated web, API, and cloud testing. You will scope, execute, and report against modern web stacks, APIs, and AWS / Azure cloud environments. This is hands‑on offensive work; reports must be findable, fixable, and ranked by real‑world impact.

• Scope and execute authenticated web and API penetration tests.
• Run cloud penetration tests focused on AWS and Azure including misconfiguration, IAM weakness, and pivot paths.
• Conduct mobile or thick-client testing where in scope.
• Author findings reports with reproduction steps, business‑impact ratings, and remediation guidance.
• Defend findings in walkthrough sessions with client engineering teams.
• Run retests and validate remediation.
• Contribute to internal tooling and the team's testing playbooks.
• Run purple‑team exercises in coordination with client SOCs where in scope.
• 4 or more years of penetration testing or red‑team experience.
• Hands‑on web and API testing including OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10 at depth.
• Hands‑on cloud penetration testing on AWS or Azure.
• Strong scripting skills in Python.
• Strong written reporting; samples will be requested.
• Working knowledge of Burp Suite Pro at advanced depth.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Candidates located in the Houston, Texas area will be given preference; remote consultants will also be considered.
• Reliable, secure internet connection and ability to travel to client sites as required by engagement scope.
