Silpa Companies is hiring a Cloud Migration Engineer for client engagements centered on lift-and-shift, replatform, and refactor migrations into AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will run the assessment, plan the waves, lead the cutover, and harden the landing zones on the receiving end. This is hands‑on engineering with the expectation that you own the cutover risk.

• Run discovery and assessment using AWS MAP, Azure Migrate, Google Cloud Migration Center, or third‑party tooling.
• Plan migration waves and dependency‑aware sequencing.
• Execute lift‑and‑shift, replatform, and refactor migrations across compute, database, and storage.
• Run parallel‑run validation and cutover playbooks.
• Harden landing zones in partnership with cloud security and platform engineering.
• Build cost‑aware target architectures.
• Author runbooks and operate the war‑room during cutover events.
• Mentor client engineers on post‑migration operations.
• 5 or more years of cloud engineering with at least 2 leading migrations.
• Production experience on at least one of AWS, Azure, GCP at migration scale.
• Hands‑on Terraform.
• Working knowledge of database migration patterns including DMS, Database Migration Service, or comparable.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Power Shell.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Candidates located in the Houston, Texas area will be given preference; remote consultants will also be considered.
• Reliable, secure internet connection and ability to travel to client sites as required by engagement scope.
