IT Support Specialist

Houston, TX – Clear lake site – Work from Client location

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and laptop support to end users.
• Perform laptop migration activities and support users with all pre-migration and post-migration issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.
• Provide access-related support for applications and servers.
• Assist users in configuring and using various business applications.
• Manage and support Active Directory (AD) related tasks, including user account administration and access management.
• Provide support for Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and One Drive.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Manage and troubleshoot user profiles on laptops and workstations.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Document issues, resolutions, and support activities in the ticketing system.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Desktop Support and End-User Computing.
• Experience in Laptop Migration and User Data Migration.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and One Drive.
• Experience in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and user profile management.
• Understanding of application access management and server access support.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
