Desktop Support Technician

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $19.00hr - $24.00hr Requirement/Must Have: 2+ years of experience in desktop support.

Experience with Windows and MacOS troubleshooting, including OS updates, encryption, and Office for Mac. Knowledge of networking including LAN/WAN connectivity troubleshooting, cross-connects, and port utilization monitoring.

Experience with hardware installations including Wireless AP swap-out and Switch install/swap-out. Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, Mac Book, iMac, and Mac Mini.

Experience with One Drive setup, migrations, and One Note Cloud Sharing. Familiarity with installing printer drivers and IP/Cloud printing. Ability to troubleshoot consumer replaceable hardware, BIOS, Drivers, and OS. Responsibilities:
Address hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the support desk. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software. Troubleshoot encryption and password issues. Attempt data recovery on failed systems. Assist with video conferencing equipment readiness and support. Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues, and problems assigned to the engineering team. Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required to ensure quick resolution.

Maintain composure when dealing with challenging customers. Provide technical setup and troubleshooting for mobile devices.
