Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Web Center Content Consultant to support an enterprise content management environment and assist with ongoing upgrade initiatives.
This position will primarily support an existing Oracle Web Center Content 12c environment, including Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture, while also assisting with activities related to an upgrade to Oracle Web Center Content 14c as needed.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, customizing, supporting, and troubleshooting Oracle Web Center Content and related ECM applications. This role works closely with business users and a broader Oracle support team to resolve issues, maintain system functionality, and support ongoing enhancements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide day-to-day technical support for Oracle Web Center Content 12c and related ECM applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets in partnership with IT and business teams.
- Perform batch file loads and content updates within Oracle Web Center Content.
- Create and maintain profiles, metadata configurations, and business rules.
- Provide technical development and support for Oracle Web Center Content 12c, formerly UCM/Stellent.
- Support Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture 12c, including invoice-related issues for Accounts Payable users.
- Assist with Oracle Web Center Content 14c upgrade activities as needed.
- Participate in monthly maintenance activities for ECM and related applications.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support content migrations from legacy repositories into Oracle Web Center Content.
- Participate in change management activities and applicable control requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve ECM application support processes.
- Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management as needed.
- Collaborate as part of a larger Oracle application support team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and customizing Oracle Web Center Content 12c, formerly Stellent/UCM.
- Hands-on experience with RIDC (Remote Intradoc Client).
- 2 3+ years of experience with Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) concepts and processes, including:
- Metadata
- Taxonomies
- Records management
- Workflows
- Search
- Security
- Experience migrating content from legacy data repositories into Oracle Web Center Content.
- Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of Oracle databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support business users with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

- HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- JSON and XML
- Elasticsearch
- Integrating Oracle Web Center Content with enterprise business applications
- Developing custom user interfaces for Web Center Content
- Linux system administration, including building and maintaining application environments
Work Environment
This is a 100% onsite position in downtown Houston, TX. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite for the duration of the assignment.
