Program Manager – Cybersecurity Services Business Development Role Purpose

The Cybersecurity Services Program Manager (CSPM) exists to convert cybersecurity risk into revenue, using fluency in business and legal liability to drive consulting engagements and to unlock connected-product and software sales that would otherwise stall on cyber, IT, or data-sharing objections.

The CSPM focuses on the business risk and liability side of cybersecurity. The role builds relationships with the customer audiences most attuned to cyber risk — CIO/CISO, chief risk officers, general counsel, IT leaders, and the C-suite — and uses those relationships to drive cybersecurity initiatives and engagements. The CSPM articulates what an OT cyber incident means for a customer — operational disruption, environmental harm, life-safety consequences, regulatory action, and the personal liability that increasingly attaches to corporate officers — and converts that understanding into scoped cybersecurity engagements.

The CSPM also leads conversations with customers to understand the concerns around exposure, IT, and data sharing that frequently stall adoption of software and connected offers. Working with the Cybersecurity Solution Architect, the CSPM clears those blocks through the same risk and liability lens. The role is global, with focused depth in the Data Center segment and the greenfield / brownfield lifecycle behind it.

Team & Reporting: Individual contributor reporting to the Leader, Cybersecurity Services Business Development. One of three roles on the team, alongside the Cybersecurity Solution Architect.

Program Operations & Knowledge Scaling

• Facilitate collaboration across the Business Leader, the Solution Architect, and segment account teams — keeping cybersecurity commercial initiatives and account-team action plans aligned and moving.
• Track cybersecurity engagement requests and monitor and resolve escalations where a sales engagement is at risk due to a cybersecurity or data / connectivity concern.
• Create and deploy the processes, procedures, and cadences that scale cybersecurity engagement consistency across regions and segments — including support for multi-country contract discussions and coordination with dedicated experts.
• Provide a cybersecurity liability and risk perspective to offer and account teams, shaping how segments approach customers on cybersecurity and connected offers.
• Extract success stories from engagements and replicate them across segments through documented plays and reusable collateral.

Customer Engagement & Influence

• Engage customer general counsel, chief risk officers, CISOs, and the C-suite as a peer — through fluency in their language, frameworks, and decision drivers.
• Lead structured fact-finding interviews with customer technical, operational, legal, and risk leadership, applying consultative and discovery techniques to surface real exposure.
• Build trust inside customer legal, risk, and IT functions and convert it into new engagements, account expansion, and executive access for the broader team.

Liability & Risk Translation

• Translate cybersecurity and critical infrastructure standards into business risk and operational liability insights that can be used to drive cybersecurity and modernization projects.
• Articulate the operational, environmental, life-safety, regulatory, and personal consequences of an OT cyber event, and position cybersecurity investment as the path to mitigation.
• Analyze the impact of cybersecurity posture and connected-service adoption on customer insurance and underwriting outcomes.
