SAP Inventory Management Consultant

Position Summary:

The Systems Analyst Level 3 will support the implementation of SAP Inventory Management. The analyst will work with business users and technical teams to transition fare media inventory tracking from the legacy Revenue Billing System (Bank) to SAP Inventory Management, ensuring serialized inventory tracking, reporting, and process integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business and functional requirements for fare media inventory management.
• Support configuration and testing of SAP Inventory Management and Serial Number Management processes.
• Facilitate creation and maintenance of Material Master data for fare media materials such as tickets, passes, smart cards, and vouchers.
• Support inventory transactions including:
  • Goods Receipt
  • Goods Issue
  • Transfer Posting
  • Returns Processing
  • Inventory Scrapping
• Validate serial number tracking and lifecycle management of fare media inventory.
• Perform requirements analysis, system testing, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing support.
• Develop business process documentation and user guides. (Suggested responsibility based on analyst role; not explicitly stated in the scope.)
• Support end-user training and adoption activities.
• Assist with security role validation and reporting requirements within SAP.

Required Skills:

• Experience with SAP Inventory Management (IM).

  • MMBE
  • IQ09
• Understanding of serial number management and inventory controls.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and testing experience.
