The Oracle Web Center Content Developer III will provide technical development, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support for Oracle Web Center Content 12c and related Enterprise Content Management (ECM) applications while supporting the organization's transition to Web Center Content 14c. The role will work closely with business users and IT teams to resolve issues, implement system changes, perform regular maintenance and patching, and support content management processes.

The position requires strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Web Center Content, Web Center Forms Recognition, Capture, Java customization, and Web Logic patching, along with a strong understanding of ECM concepts and content migration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical development and day-to-day production support for Oracle Web Center Content 12c (UCM/Stellent).
  • Provide technical development and support for Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
  • Troubleshoot tickets and work with IT and business teams to determine root causes and appropriate resolutions.
  • Perform batch file loads and updates within Oracle Web Center Content.
  • Create and maintain profiles, metadata configurations, rules, taxonomies, workflows, search configurations, and security settings.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand system specifications and business and technical requirements.
  • Develop technical specification documents and solutions that meet business needs.
  • Handle deployment of system changes and participate in monthly maintenance activities for ECM and related applications.
  • Apply monthly Web Logic patches and support associated patching activities.
  • Complete required Change Management tasks and applicable SOX control requirements.
  • Develop and modify custom Java code within Oracle Web Center Content to support system functionality and updates.
  • Support Accounts Payable users with invoice-related issues involving Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture.
  • Support content extraction and migration activities involving legacy repositories and platforms such as SharePoint.
  • Assist with improving support processes for ECM and related applications.
  • Support Oracle Web Center Content 14c upgrade activities as needed while maintaining the existing 12c environment.
  • Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies and best practices when supporting applicable initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and customizing Oracle Web Center Content 12c, formerly Stellent/UCM.
  • Experience with RIDC (Remote Intradoc Client).
  • 2-3 years of experience with Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture 12c.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) processes and concepts, including taxonomies, records management, metadata, workflows, search, and security.
  • Experience migrating content from legacy data repositories to Oracle Web Center Content.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Web Center Content and related modules, including Web Center Capture, Inbound Refinery (I ), and Web Center Forms Recognition (WFR).
  • Strong Core Java skills for developing and modifying custom code within Oracle Web Center Content.
  • Hands-on experience applying monthly Web Logic patches and understanding Web Logic patching processes.
  • Experience providing day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, and change deployment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with business and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JSP, and React.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Web Center Content with business applications.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Web Center Content with Oracle E‑Business Suite, particularly Accounts Payable or Finance workflows.
  • Linux system administration experience, including building and maintaining environments.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for queries, joins, and data validation.
  • Experience supporting document extraction and migration between Web Center Content and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Oracle Web Center Content 14c upgrade initiatives.
